Fashion Old And New

0

Recently while going through a number of boxes that I had stored for awhile, I found vintage clothing patterns.  What I was again so impressed with was the balance of the garment details with all of the parts of the design.  It is quite a skill to have that balance.

Now days you can achieve the balance in your garments by using the Body:Gram Fashion Tool.  You have access to the skill of a designer but with no training on your part.  Isn’t it great to be able to use someone else’s knowledge and benefit by it?

You can even take old garments you have in your closet and refresh them by changing the length of the hem or changing some of the details about the garment.  It is a wonderful way to have a lot of new garments–just shop in your own closet and then find an alteration person who understands what you want to do. Find or create something new in the old garment and extend the wearing time to continue to enjoy a favorite.  I call it garment re-styling and do it quite often for my clients.
