What we wear is influenced by what the weather is going to be doing during our daily activities. Having the right clothing in the closet to handle unexpected weather events can be a bit challenging when we are experiencing weather we usually do not have for the area we live in or are visiting.

I was always thankful when I visited my family in a much colder part of the country that I could wear things from their closet so I did not have to buy or pack the clothing to take with me. It was a more enjoyable visit when dressed for their weather or weather surprises.

Think about what you have in your closet, balance out the clothing for each part of the year and add or subtract so your choices are easy for you to make.  Think 3-4 months ahead when adding so you are able to find the clothing items you want to find in the retail stores and have a good selection of choices.

Plan ahead for vacations if you are going to places that need different clothing than you usually have in your closet so your trip is fun and you have clothing that works for your trip destination.  You can always add if you get there and need other items than you took with you but for the most part having wardrobe appropriate items with you will allow you to have more money to enjoy the activities of that area.
